Spring Break 2009! Signs you know Spring leads to good times!

-Here I am in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I went, along with 200 other USU students, on a cruise through the Mexican Riveria and boy was it beautiful. Notice me in shorts, white t-shirt, sunglasses and along side a beautiful beach and smiling. Now that's a sure sign I'm enjoying spring break because back in Logan, Utah it snowed. Spring came early for me in Mexico!

-Here is a wonderful view of the Beach Bar I never went to. Notice the lovely palm trees, the white sand and the Jimmy Buffet style dream vacation atmosphere. There isn't a care in the world on this beach but to relax and not care at all! The bamboo and palm leaf hut was home to famous margaritas and non-alcoholic pina coladas that many of the USU students decided to indulge in. Cheap, cheap prices and a careless attitude almost brought tears into my eyes. People aren't usually this nice unless it's that spring time of the year and winter has officially moved on. Luckily, in Mexico it's always summer and just a wonderful spring break for us.

-A close-up of the sandcastle we made was one of many of the fun-filled activities we participated in. Notice the Aggie letter "A" on the top of the sandcastle. Well that "A" was dedicated to all our friends back at home freezing their butts off because it snowed in Utah and spring was arriving just a lil bit too late. Luckily I wore sandals to this beach because the sand was literally so hot and just burning my feet! Spring break also led to me having a wonderful tan and I hope everyone gets the chance to see it. Usually I burn and turn into a lobster but this spring break turned out to be magical and I tanned, which of course freaking rocks my socks off! I hope everyone else spring break was as fun as mine!
